As part of the preparation by the Defence Chief Information Officer Group to implement the First Principles Review findings, LeadAbility Group partnered with Yellow Edge as one of the change mentors leading a series of facilitated master classes with executive level staff.
The master classes focused on key concepts of change including sphere of influence and control, preparing yourself and your team for the change, and models to assist in defining the scale of the local change and designing local actions. The change mentoring also extended to one-on-one sessions with individuals.
The feedback received was extremely positive. Participants commented that LeadAbility Group added a high level of value that stretched them to think about their contexts in different ways. Participants also noted the insights they gained through the change master classes and said they were ‘really lucky to have Gill as their coach’.
